Email Strategy for Coaches and Course Creators

Your email list should
be your biggest asset.

Right now it probably isn't. And I'd bet good money it's not because you're a bad writer. It's because nobody showed you the right strategy. That's what Rapid Marketers fixes.

The Philosophy

99% of what you've been taught about email is wrong.

Not slightly off. Not missing a few tricks. Fundamentally, structurally wrong. And if you've ever wondered why your list feels dead, why people don't open, why nobody buys... this is why.

Here are the four principles I built Rapid Marketers on. Read them slowly because once you get these, you'll never look at your email list the same way again.

01
Context of the Opt-In
Think about the last time you walked into a shop and immediately got swarmed by a salesperson. Doesn't feel great, right? That's exactly what most businesses do the second someone opts into their email list.

Someone hands over their email address in exchange for a freebie, gets it, and ghosts you forever. And it's not because they're bad leads. It's because you never gave them a reason to stick around. The context of how someone joins your list sets the tone for every email that follows. Get this wrong and you're fighting an uphill battle from the very first send.
"Giving someone value doesn't mean they value you. It just means you gave them something valuable."
02
Customers Are Created, Not Attracted
Here's something most people never want to hear. When your list doesn't buy, it's not the leads. Every single person on your email list buys things. They buy courses. They buy coaching. They buy software.

The question is: why aren't they buying from you? The answer almost always comes down to the system. Not the copy. Not the offer. The system underneath that was never designed to create buyers in the first place.
03
The 90-Day Sales Rule
In almost every industry, only ~20% of the people who will ever buy from you will do so within the first 90 days. The other 80% of buyers will buy after that window closes. Day 91. Day 200. Day 412.

Most email systems are built to chase that 20% hard and fast. Which means the other 80% feel pressured, tune out, and stop opening your emails entirely. Then you miss out on the ~80% of potential future sales. Not so good, is it?
"What if you built a system that worked for both? The buyers who are ready within 90 days and the ones who will be ready later."
04
Upstream Thinking
Two people are fishing when they spot a child being swept downstream. They jump in and save him. Then another appears. Then another. One of them finally turns and runs upstream to find out who keeps throwing kids in the river.

That's how I approach email. Stop fighting fires downstream. Build the right system from the start and most of the problems that plague everyone else simply never show up.
The 90-Day Sales Rule

Most email lists are built
for short-term profit.

I've worked behind the scenes with a lot of coaches and creators and seen them follow the same broken email playbook. They push hard and early, which makes a lot of money. But gradually over time, their results from email get worse and worse... until they get confused and wonder what went wrong.

80% of the people who will ever buy from you won't do it within the first 90 days. They need time, and more importantly, they need a reason to stick around. Push them too hard too soon and you lose them for good.

That's the whole game. Build a system that works for both groups and your list becomes the most valuable thing in your business.

About Me

I got tired of watching good people do email completely wrong.

I'm Paul Murphy. I founded Rapid Marketers because I kept seeing the same thing play out over and over. Smart people with incredible value to share... but an email list achieving absolutely nothing.

(Or perhaps they didn't even have an email list!)

Here's what I know for sure. Copywriting and offer creation are important. But when it comes to long-term success, it's the system underneath that matters most. Get the system wrong and nothing you do on the surface will save you.

I've worked with coaches and course creators across pretty much every niche you can think of. And the same story comes up every single time. The people with unengaged lists that barely convert aren't bad marketers, they're just using a broken system.

Fix the system and everything changes. That is what Rapid Marketers is built to do.

FAQ

Things people usually ask.

What if I don't have an email list?
+
Perfect! You'll get to build your entire email ecosystem with the best possible strategy in place, meaning you get to avoid all the BS out there.
Do I need a big list for this to work?
+
Nope! We care more about quality than quantity. You can get 1,000 opt-ins and still make zero sales. But with the right strategy, you can get 100 opt-ins and make 10 sales. What matters most is how the system is built, not how big the list is.
Is this about any specific email platform?
+
Not at all. Kit, ActiveCampaign, Mailchimp, Klaviyo... doesn't matter. The strategy works the same way regardless of the tool you use. Because this is about thinking, not technology.
Is any of this manipulative or high-pressure?
+
The complete opposite of what you're probably used to seeing. I built Rapid Marketers because I was fed up with cringe-inducing email tactics that treat subscribers like numbers on a dashboard. Everything here is built on genuine relationship and real trust.
